ITV launched its Christmas idents at 8.15pm on Saturday 7th December 2013. The set of idents were supplemented by additional idents in 2014, along with snowflakes added to the channel's trailers. All the idents (except the Thunderbirds special) returned on 1st December 2015, 3rd December 2016, and again on both 1st December 2017 and 2018. For 2017, the trailers followed the style introduced in February, but with an icy background.

Idents added Christmas 2014.

This ident of a bulldog by a fire was added in 2014. By 2016, the music had been changed to a slower-paced piece, yet in 2017 the original music returned.

The Merry-Go-Round ident is interrupted here by a plea for the help of International Rescue. 'Thunderbirds are Go', the reinvention of the classic television series, is due to air in Spring 2015.

Text Santa

Two special idents used in ITV's 'Text Santa Christmas Jumper Day' show on Friday 18th December 2015. The knitted pug ident introduced a commercial break in which all the adverts were animated with knitted figures and scenes.
