'It's a Sin'
On Friday 22nd January 2021, Channel 4 heavily promoted its new 80s drama 'It's a Sin' by theming its presentation in the style of the day. Unsurprisingly the familiar 'blocks' ident returned, but so did themed promo stings - virtually unseen today - though this time used as idents. The original clock made appearances for the day's two news bulletins, as did an 80s menu. Current presentation elements including the break bumpers, in-programme pointers and nexts used the colours of the original logo.

The second ident of the day was the original blocks logo, but with added zoom. This is naturally the ident that also introduced the main event at 9pm.

Throughout the day, this 80s-style menu was shown with suitably 80s-style voiceovers.

At 11.55am and 7pm, it's back in time to the original clock before Channel 4 News.

And back to the current day, a next pointer, but with the original Channel 4 logo.
