In mid-August 2011, Street Summer is a season of programmes that explores the influences that have shaped contemporary urban culture and showcases some of the most exciting British talent on the block.

According to the Channel 4 web site 'Normal service has been disrupted'. On 13th August 2011, the whole evening of programming was compiled by the famous artist Banksy and featured alternative presentation.
For January 2010, Channel 4 is airing a season of programmes under the title 'Indian Winter'. Beginning on the 13th with the film 'Slumdog Millionaire', the season includes features from Kevin McCloud and Gordon Ramsey, a 'Secret Millionaire' special, and news reports from India with Krishnan Guru-Murthy.
During the week beginning 16th November 2009, Channel 4 screened a season of programmes in '3D'. To mark the event, a brand new ident has been unveiled that builds on the theme of the current set - whereby the '4' logo is formed briefly as part of the live action.
