Towards the end of 2009, a new version of the channel's menu was introduced. Not as sleek as the original, the major differences can be seen in the size of the menu text, and also - for the first time - the physical shape of the '4' logo is shown, rather than being a knock-out effect.

'Next' animations featuring the '4' logo. Like the trailers and break bumpers, the image seen through the knock-out effect is many and varied.

The number of stings - short animations used to punctuate continuity - are as many and varied as there are images in the world. The video contains a very brief collection of fourteen such stings.
