On 5th August 2013, a new look was unveiled for Universal Channel in part of a global refresh that had already launched in April in Asia, spreading to other countries around the world. The refresh of NBCUniversal's flagship brand is the result of collaboration between its central marketing team, Red Bee Media and TV brand strategist Lee Hunt.
