After many months in 2014 being tagged as BBC TWO's fiftieth anniversary idents, on 1st January 2015, several of the channel's 1990s idents became the de facto idents. The 'Window on the World' idents have gone - though unfortunately leaving behind their trailer end boards and other miscellaneous presentation. The following are used by Network, Scotland and Wales, whilst Northern Ireland go their separate way.

Gardening ident. This was added (back) in to the standard rotation of idents on the Network feed in March 2017.

Optic ident. This was added (back) in to the standard rotation of idents on the Network feed in February 2017. The ident shown here is the 'closedown' announcement from the early hours of Saturday 30th October 2017 and runs to 40 seconds in length.

When shown before Gaelic programmes on BBC TWO Scotland, the legend is changed to BBC TWO Alba.

In late June 2015, Silk made a reappearance on Network - unfortunately with the 2 in wrong proportions.

Fortunately, this corrected by mid-July, with the 2 returning to its correct shape.
As ever, the team in BBC Northern Ireland have their own take on things - and just get it right...

Balloon idents. The first video was captured 1st January 2015, the second was captured 8th January 2015. They differ in that the former opens with a clean view of the balloon without the channel logo, and the music begins with a trill.

Paper Cut-out ident. First seen in 1991, this made a reappearance in January 2017.
