Movie Mix originated as 'The Big Deal' - a channel that first began broadcasting in 2009. On 6th December 2012, the channel was renamed 'Movie Mix', but its full operation began on 17th January 2013 when it started a re-badged simulcast of the 'More Than Movies' channel.
