A bauble is left all alone in the loft when the rest of the decorations are taken away.

Inspired by a spider hanging from its thread, the bauble makes its escape from the loft, but then is left in peril as it rolls to the top of the stairs.

A scary monster approaches up the stairs. It turns out to be the family's friendly pet cat.

The bauble rides down the stairs on the back of the cat, ending up outside the sitting room.

In the final ident, the bauble is hung on the Christmas tree with its four companions.

The five idents form part of 'A Journey Home', a promotion for Channel 5's fundraising special on Friday 21st December - 'Help The Animals at Christmas'. It is the UK’s first ever TV event to help raise awareness and much-needed funds for animals who need treatment or help.
