Match of the Dave

For the South Africa World Cup in June 2010, Dave took on a football theme for its presentation and trailed its post-match programming as 'Match of the Dave'. In June 2012, the theme was brought back for the Euro 2012 Championships - this time with the addition of a panel of pundits.

For the football event of Summer 2012, the break bumpers and tweaked ident returned, alongside a panel of pundits in a mild parody of those found on the main sports channels.

For the Euro 2012 Championships, the 2012 World Cup ident was tweaked replacing the South African flag on the luggage the flags of Ukraine and Poland.
