Christmas Tree idents. There are two versions - the first aired at 9.15pm before 'Casualty', the second aired at twenty-past midnight as BBC ONE handed over to the BBC News channel. The difference being the tone of the music - the first brighter, the second calmer.

The Bumper Cars ident was first broadcast before 'Match of the Day' at 10.20pm.

The first showing of the first daytime version of the Pier ident was at 10am on Sunday 2nd December before 'The Andrew Marr Show'. Later at 1.15pm, the second version of the daytime Pier ident without music introduced 'Songs of Praise' - except for Northern Ireland where it was first used before the news at 5.05pm.
