Discovery Networks launched the new TLC channel at 8pm on Tuesday 30th April 2013. A mix of original UK-originated content and programmes from the USA, the arrival of this entertaiment caused the demised of two other Discovery channels - Real Time and Travel & Living at 8am the same day.
