In 2012, the insurance firm Aviva secured a year-long 'partnership' of the channel. To promote the deal, the design agency Addiction London has produced several new idents to be shown - mainly during primetime - from March onwards.
Clare Laycock, the general manager at UKTV, has said 'these idents will help us to refresh our on-air look and feel to sit more in line with our brand essence and showcase our new partnership with Aviva.'
Personally, I feel they don't do the job nearly as well as the original set, as they do little to show anything in home design - being basically still shots of a simple setting.
