Bio - The Biography Channel - focussed primarily on biographical shows with additional lifestyle programming. The final style of the UK channel's presentation began airing during January 2011 and introduced the 'True Story' tag originally seen on the US channel in 2007.

The majority of the content on this page comes from the high definition Bio.HD channel. Whilst the SD version of Bio continues, the alternative-schedule high definition channel closed on 3rd July 2012.

Bio closed completely on 3rd November 2013 to make way for the launch of Lifetime.
