As the title suggests, '60 Seconds' is a minute long news programme designed to appeal to the channel's younger adult audience. Originally launched on BBC Choice on 16th July 2001, it was retained when BBC Three replaced BBC Choice on 9th February 2003.

On Tuesday 12th February 2008, BBC Three had a complete makeover - and along with it, the look of '60 Seconds'.




After just a few days, there was a tweak to the graphics with the remaining time now being indicated with a grey stripe.
