To coincide with the launch of Animal Planet HD on Sky channel 525, the channel refreshed its presentation with all new graphics and idents on 27th February 2012. The new concept presentation was co-developed by Discovery UK Creative and Double G Studios. The animal character animation was developed with Blue Zoo.
