ALPHA's presentation graphics used during the celebration of Easter

In the week leading to Easter 2001, ALPHA showed this rather elegant Easter station ident - with the legend 'Holy Week 2001'. There are two different pieces of backing music here for this ident.

On Easter Sunday, ALPHA replaced the above ident with this one wishing the viewers 'Chronia Polla' - the traditional Greek greeting meaning 'many years'. There was a second, somewhat tacky version wishing 'Chronia Poll-ALPHA' - replaced by the former.

Different trailers for programmes shown on ALPHA during Easter.

The first two were for films in ALPHA's 'The Bible' season: "In a short while, 'Samson and Delilah'" and 'Joseph' at 21:00 on Good Friday.

At 23:00 Easter Monday 'Zorba' and on Holy Saturday at Midday 'A Night on the Gas'.
